Nora Havercamp, 82, 500 BInford St. died at 3:15 p.m. Friday at the Ben Hur Convalescent Home. She had been ill several months. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church and its Faithful Circle Class. She was born near Lapland on Nov 25, 1889 a daughter of William and Nancy (Coons) Peters. She married George Harwood on March 16, 1906. He died Nov 29, 1941. She married Otto Havercamp on Oct 22, 1942. He died August 22, 1971. Survivors include a stepson, Otto M. Havercamp of Crawfordsville; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Mildred Todd of Mace; a dau-in-law, Mrs. Leroy Harwood, 3 grandchildren, Mrs. Shirley Pyle; David and Daniel Harwood, all of Crawfordsville; 5 stepgrandchildren; six great grandchildren; several step great grandchildren and nieces & nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 pm. Sunday at Christ United Methodist Church with Rev. Leland Brett officiating. Burial in Indian Creek Cemetery. Friends may call at Hunt & Son Funeral Home after 5 p.m. today.
